Job Summary:
We are seeking a Junior HSEQ Inspector to support the implementation and improvement of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) systems within our facilities management operations. The ideal candidate will assist in fostering a strong HSEQ culture, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the company’s HSEQ management in promoting and improving the HSEQ culture within work sites.
- Assist the HSEQ Team Lead/Coordinator in implementing and enhancing HSEQ systems.
- Conduct inspections, risk assessments, and audits of contractors and facilities to ensure compliance with HSEQ standards.
- Ensure familiarity with safety inspection processes, statutory requirements, and best practices in preventive and corrective maintenance (PPM and CM).
- Generate detailed reports and maintain accurate records of inspections and assessments.
- Collaborate with teams to address HSEQ concerns and provide guidance on corrective actions.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience, or Diploma with 3 years of experience.
- NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE qualification (mandatory).
- Preferred certifications: ISO 45001 Internal Auditor.
- Proven experience in implementing HSEQ systems, preferably in the Facilities Management industry.
- Knowledge of safety inspection processes, risk assessments, and statutory requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for report generation.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
