Local Partnerships Specialist (Qatarization)

Responsibilities

Coordinate technical and financial requirements, and negotiate proposals to close new project opportunities.

Liase with the Legal Directorate to draft partnership agreements required for the signature and implementation of new projects.

Contribute to the dissemination and sharing of best practices and lessons learned for planning and knowledge building within Local partnership development.

Provide regular feedback on existing systems, tools and resources to ensure its relevance to day-to-day operations.

Build and sustain collaborative working relationships and networks with external partner organizations and stakeholders to achieve constructive partnerships at an operational level, and to support strategic initiatives and the advancement of the Local partnership strategies.

Support the planning and delivery of visits and conferences held at the University in regards to successful partnerships.

Implement the techniques and approaches established to approach local stakeholders.

Manage the delivery of professional services engagements through local partners.

Follow up with potential donors to facilitate the donations process and maintain good professional networks.

Develop a comprehensive partnership development plan in line with UDST’s Strategic Plan and Local Strategies. 

Contribute to the identification, design, formulation and negotiation of new projects and programs and draft concept notes and project document briefs for discussion with partners.

Create and maintain opportunities and engagement functionalities in alignment with local guidelines.

Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field is required

 

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant field is required

Language:

Fluency in written and spoken English language is required

Fluency in written and spoken Arabic is preferred
