About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Head of Marketing to join our team. This person must be able to help us scale up our customer acquisition by 1000x, you will be responsible for driving customer acquisition, engagement, and retention across all of our markets. This position requires a deep understanding of financial services and digital marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of analytical thinking, creative problem-solving, and leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams in the execution of growth initiatives.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead from the Front: Employ a hands-on approach to boosting sales, with a proven track record of enabling acquisitions, engagement, and retention.
  • Drive New Acquisitions: Utilize both outreach and product-led marketing strategies to attract new global customers.
  • Campaign Creation: Lead the development of new campaigns, from hypothesis generation to execution through research, analytics, testing, measurement, and iteration.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage analytics and performance metrics to track growth initiatives, optimize campaigns, and improve user experiences.
  • Lead Nurturing: Curate and grow leads received via various channels to increase inbound funnel conversion.
  • Partnership Development: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships that enhance our offerings and expand market reach.
  • Distributor Network: Build a distributor network for our product offerings and create affiliate channels as a new source for acquisition.
  • Collaborate with Product Teams: Partner with product managers and relationship managers to improve the performance of our on-product and off-product acquisition channels.
  • Referral Programs: Develop referral programs to increase contributions to overall new acquisitions.
  • Product Feedback: Provide inputs to the product team to improve the product experience for new acquisitions.
  • Innovative Growth Strategies: Generate 10X growth ideas to discover new ways to grow or optimize existing funnels.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential opportunities, trends, and analyze the competitive landscape. Utilize insights to identify and target new clients.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, IT engineering, and customer relationship management teams to create and implement integrated growth campaigns.
  • Team Leadership: Hire, coach, and retain a small, high-performing team that champions our mission and vision. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in driving growth across institutional businesses.
  • Leadership: Hands-on approach with the ability to lead from the front.
  • Project Management: Project management experience is strongly preferred.
  • Expertise: Strong understanding of customer acquisition strategies and growth hacking techniques.
  • Digital Marketing Knowledge: Knowledge of digital marketing would be advantageous.
  • Performance: Demonstrated ability to drive user growth and engagement in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
  • Team Management: Experience in managing cross-functional teams and projects.
  • Industry Passion: Passion for financial services, digital innovation, and the future of finance.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Strategy, Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. An MBA or relevant advanced degree would be beneficial.
  • Financial Services Experience: Experience in financial services
  • Team Building: Proven experience in developing a growth and partnerships team.
  • Compliance Knowledge: Reasonable knowledge of compliance laws and regulations.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills with a data-driven mindset and strategic thinking.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is necessary. Arabic is nice to have
