About the role
As a Lead Product Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of specific digital products or services, such as the online booking engine, mobile app booking, payment products, loyalty products and ancillary products in the booking journey. Your deep product management expertise will help you to manage a team of product managers, collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design, Technical, Marketing, etc), ensure that digital products are aligned with business goals, enhance customer experience, and drive revenue.
You will also be involved in setting product priorities, managing the development lifecycle, and delivering features that meet customer and business needs, effectively manage teams, and deliver high-quality digital products
As part of your role, your responsibilities will be inclusive of, but not limited to the following:
- Lead a team of talented product owners dedicated to turning vision into reality, focusing on releasing best-in-class digital products across the digital landscape in a motivation environment.
- Define and execute the product strategy, roadmap and vision for your portfolio, aligning to digital objectives and customer needs. Develop business cases to secure funding to achieve the strategy, ensuring ROI.
- Champion a culture of innovation, collaboration, experimentation and customer centricity across the product team
Advocate and embody customer-centric and personalized design and user experience, ensuring our products exceed customer and member expectations. - Develop, then live and breathe the digital product vision and OKRs that will shape your product roadmap and your team’s product backlog and personal performance objectives
- Cultivate strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the business to gather requirements, communicate roadmap progress and ensure alignment with the product vision, balancing competing interests and driving consensus to achieve digital objectives whilst shaping requests into manageable digital products and features
- Partner with technical teams and platform owners to define the long-term technical capability roadmap for your portfolio

About you
We are looking for a dynamic and visionary Lead Product Manager to join our innovative and forward-thinking Digital Commerce & Service Experiences team shaping the future of travel at Qatar Airways.
- Minimum qualification of bachelor’s degree or equivalent is essential.
- 8+ years of job-related experience
- Deep product management expertise, experience working in airline booking flows / journeys, ability to manage and motivate teams, strong stakeholder management
- Proven experience as a Product/Portfolio Manager or similar role, with expertise in in digital products
- Has knowledge of third party vendor management for payment
- A strategic mindset, with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans that drive business results
- Experience in overseeing the development and management of multiple product lines
