Duties & Responsibilities

  • Actively participates in the day-to-day management of pharmacy and responsible for his/her assigned registers.
  • Ensure dispensing of correct medication and appropriate counseling for patients/ customers. Also be prompt in customers request, Complaints and compliments about the product.
  • Adhere to company Motto Get Along Well With and provide maximum customer service, where none of the customer should go with empty hand once enter into the Pharmacy. Make the customer to feel Well care Pharmacies is complete solution for all their Pharmacy needs.
  • Maintaining the Customer enquiry form upon the customer enquiry and reporting to Purchase department on daily basis to arrange the New or out of stock items.
  • Actively participate in daily sales including Promotion sales, In-House product sales, Liquidation of near expiry products and etc.
  • Ensure to increase the sales of the pharmacy by encouraging the colleagues, sharing information about medicines, new products and giving proper direction in related issues.
  • Should have ability to maintain self-patience, identifying the customers need, communicating with customers and co-workers sympathetically and supportively, obeying the policies of the management, the pharmacy and licensing department.
  • Make sure to follow up the store requisition and appraising the buyer about new product inquiry, also maintain good relation with the buyers, store in-charge & transport coordinator for the daily basis of product availability.
  • Oversee cash transactions, insurance billing and give proper endorsement to the next duty pharmacist before leaving from duty.
  • Ensure to give proper response for each mail and inform the other pharmacy staffs about the mail. Added to that should maintain the daily shift activity reports regularly and accurately.
  • Should be alert if any of the pharmacy sales are disclosed by any of the staffs to the outsiders and inform to the concerned department of such matter or any other illegal activities practiced by the staff.
  • He/ She should be well groomed and wearing Pharmacist coat, Neck tie (IA), name tag and also ensure the cleanliness of pharmacy by giving proper direction to supporting staff.
  • He/ she must feel comfortable in reporting attending the In-house meeting conducted by management and being managed by others. Willingness to do work as may be assigned if necessary.
  • Inform the Management about positive and negative issues in the pharmacy and remind them if any pending/ uncompleted work.
  • Adhere to the rule by making one invoice for each customer to avoid further complications and work hand in hand with Pharmacy staffs and retail operation team to operate the pharmacy dynamically.
  • Must be responsible person to answer clearly for any discrepancy revealed in daily sales and insurance issues on His/ Her duty timing.
  • Ensure to be on time for duty and report to the concerned department if delayed, more over smart phones are strictly prohibited in the pharmacy during the duty hours.

Qualification & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited institution (Master's degree in Pharmacy Administration or Healthcare Management preferred).
  • Licensed pharmacist in good standing with the state board of pharmacy.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmacy operations management, with demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Strong understanding of pharmacy regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in pharmacy management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
