Senior Manager, ODAs & Partnerships

Education Above All Foundation (EAA) seeks a highly motivated and experienced professional to manage our partnerships and resource mobilization efforts on a global scale. As the Senior Manager, ODAs & Partnerships, you will play a pivotal role in cultivating and strengthening EAA's relationships with bilateral and multilateral organizations, driving innovative financing solutions, and fostering strategic collaborations to advance our mission of providing quality education for all.


Key Responsibilities:

Education Programs Economics

  • Responsible for conducting cutting-edge research, providing technical expertise, and support the leading policy dialogue on critical issues in education sector economics.
  • Provide management and leadership in economics analysis and economic approaches to drive impact in support of EAA’s strategy. Analyze and interpret complex education data sets using advanced econometric techniques and statistical software.
  • Develop and implement economic models to assess the impact of education policies and interventions.
  • Provide technical assistance and capacity building to government counterparts and other stakeholders in developing countries
  • Work constructively with EAA partners, including bilateral and multi-lateral donors, UN agencies, and international NGOs. Contribute to alignment and coordination around country led priorities.
  • Stay abreast of current trends in education economics and research methodologies and use economics tools to solve a range of practical problems in the Education area.


Partnership Research and Innovative Financing Management

  • Lead the implementation of specialized, comprehensive and analytical research on potential partnerships for EAA as well as any relevant categories in line with higher management instructions.
  • Facilitate the collaboration with governments and local organizations in regions and to engage EAA in a dialogue with these governments.
  • Propose new investment vehicles that reduces the EAA contributions and adopt approaches to financing that stretch beyond the standard level
  • Explore, engage and implement new and creative financing solutions to enhance the overall effectiveness of EAA overall financing strategies.


Partnerships Development, Management, and Maintenance

  • Advanced collaboration with Development Banks and ODA multilateral partners
  • Lead the design and establishment of monitoring and evaluation mechanisms to track the directorate’s impact and make necessary adjustments for continuous improvement in collaboration with the partners, and other modalities.
  • Oversee written analysis, evaluation and recommendations regarding partnership development proposals
  • Lead the creation of presentation tools and documents tailored for potential partners.
  • Lead communication and negotiations with potential partners whenever requested by the management, ensuring thorough documentation of correspondences as required.
  • Conceptualize innovative approaches for collaboration with potential partners to contribute to the achievement of EAA’s strategic objectives.
  • Maintain and manage the partnerships pipeline and report on the same to the director of external relations.
  • Foster strategic partnerships for collaborative impact.


Department Management

  • Formulate, implement, manage and monitor departmental strategies and business plans in coordination with the External relations Director.
  • Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures to facilitate effective communication with internal teams/stakeholders, in consultation with the External Relations Director.
  • Ensure mechanisms are in place to regularly review and monitor the performance of the ODA & Partnerships sub-department and take appropriate corrective actions to achieve goals and targets.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 12-15 years of relevant full-time work experience, including 3 years at a supervisory level.
  • Master's degree or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
  • Proven track record of significant success in international partnerships and management.
  • International exposure across relevant industries in development and execution of innovative financing solutions.
  • Proven ability to coordinate and work with high-level government offices, financial institutions, and stakeholders.
  • Extensive experience in strategic resource partnership development and global mobilization.
  • Proven track record in building and managing successful partnerships with international donors and institutions.
  • Highly skilled in risk assessment, knowledge management, and generating revenue through partnerships.
  • Possesses deep understanding of development partnerships, donor strategies, and international relations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural skills, effective negotiator and problem solver.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, approachable and engaging partner.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement resource mobilization frameworks and partnerships.
  • Strong network with international donors and institutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Integrity, honesty, openness, approachability, and strong work ethic.
  • Knowledge in Partnership Development and Management Processes
  • Strong research, negotiation and presentation skills
