About the role
In this role, you will be accountable as the Base’s point-of-contact to co-ordinate all operational and administrative functions relevant to flight operations to and from the assigned location and will act as the representative of the Company.
As part of your role, your responsibilities will be inclusive of, but not limited to the following:
· Supervise the timely off-loading of flights immediately following aircraft arrival.
· Co-ordinate with contracted Ground Services team to ensure smooth process of passenger embarkation and disembarkation, as well as baggage loading/unloading in Doha and in Docking stations.
· Assist the investigation of complaints from passengers, clients, flight crew and other departments, as applicable, to determine preventive measures to be taken to avoid the recurrence and perform spot-checks from time to time to ensure that quality, service, hygiene levels are maintained on the docking equipment and platform to ensure all defects are reported and addressed to avoid any incidents or accidents.
· Ensure that quality and service standards are met at all times with on time performance of all assigned flights and ensure that all applicable production plans and deadlines are followed.
· Monitor, ensure safety and serviceability of the following equipment provided by company which will be permanently allocated for the location inclusive of Jetty/Platform and related equipment, Shore attachments and safety equipment
· Check the water level with the appropriate water source authority, inform the ground operations department with the flight dispatch and record such information prior to commencement to flight operation.
· Report the visibility in all quadrants, precipitation, temperature, cloud base, wind direction/speed and any other significant phenomenon to the Ground Ops and Flight Dispatch and record such information.
· Inspect the designated area and ensure that the Landing Strip / Waterway is cleared for landing. In case any obstacles are seen on the Landing Strip / Waterway, the Base Coordinator shall immediately inform Ground Ops and Flight Dispatch to receive and record such information.

Qualifications
About you
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 2 years of job-related experience.
· Excellent command of English language and influencing capabilities.
· Trained on dangerous goods and ramp safety.
· Experience in amphibian operations.
· Preferably have Qatar and Airport Driving Licenses.
