We are currently looking for a Technology Consultant for Qatar location. As a technology consultant, you will assist in all levels of technical account planning and accompany sales account managers on visits to customers and partners/resellers.
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the internal sales team and customers, providing a technical response to RFP/RFI in a formally excellent and timely manner.
• Hands-on experience in IT security consulting, implementation and configuration of IT security solutions such as Firewalls, SIEM, XDR, EDR, Vulnerability Management, Security Management
• Systems, IDS / IPS, VPN and data security, etc
• Assist sales in preparing proposals, RFP responses, delivering presentations, and demonstrating product capabilities to customers.
• Define and articulate differentiators and values versus competition for the specific solution.
• Ability to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows, Linux, and Unix systems.
• Extensive networking knowledge, including routing/switching, VPN, and other protocols.
• Experience in network troubleshooting using tools like WireShark, etc.
• Basic knowledge of database systems like MSSQL, MySQL etc.
• Additional certification like CISSP, GIAC, CCSP, CEH etc. would be an added advantage.
Basic Qualifications:
• 4+ Years of experience in the security domain.
• Must have good communication and presentation skills and be able to convey value to the customer.
• Good understanding of cyber security domains and strong networking knowledge
• Previous experience in pre-sales or deployment of security solutions is value added.
• CCSE / CCTA / CCTE will be an added advantage
• Strong understanding of the OSI model, TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS etc.
• Experience in working with Firewalls, Next Generation Firewalls
• Good understanding of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP)
• Good understanding of IP based networks, network design, and security products (EDR, Email security)
