Maritime Senior Project Lead

Job Purpose:

Support the company Projects and Business Development team by providing advice and applying previous experience to identify areas that company can support the various End Users through the provision of Maintenance Repair and Overhaul based services. Through an excellent knowledge of Naval engineering services, and the required supporting services  such as systems integration, supply chain management, maintenance planning etc.

Operational Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with multiple stakeholders including Military Personnel, External Suppliers and various other departments.
  • Support the development of User Requirements, Statements of Work, Tender Documents and Contracts working with multiple relevant stakeholders.
  • Collation and analysis of operational data (performance metrics).
  • Present and report on project progress through presentations in internal meetings, and submissions to both internal and external reports.
  • Support and assist in tasks given to the company Projects and BD Team as directed.
  • Provide support to the company operations team, specifically during contract transition / initial operating phases as directed. Continuously review and provide inputs to enhance performance management framework to meet business needs
  • Building and maintaining relationships with End Users and other stakeholders.
  • Producing detailed Scopes of Work and for future maritime support solutions.
  • Pre contract and tendering including Engagement with End Users, Suppliers, Technical Specialists and other parties in determining Requirements, Technical Statements of Work etc; development of contracts through liaison with other departments such as Legal, Human Resources and Finance and reporting on the projects progress to senior management.
  • Post contract handover and support to the Company Operations including liaison with Stakeholders, review of KPI performance and reporting.
  • Providing advice (from proven experience) on maritime regulations, authorities and best practices.
  • Development of company policy, guidelines and Quality Management System.


Skills

Minimum Requirements:

  • Post Graduate or Bachelor's degree qualification
  • Appropriate Engineering / Engineering / Management field
  • Minimum 10 -15 years’ experience
  • Military Naval Maintenance Management: Practical experience and an excellent understanding of Naval MRO including maintenance and repair policy and procedure;
  • Drafting/developing technical documentation; personnel and stakeholder management; development of business opportunities.
  • Working internationally and specifically in the Middle East would be advantageous.
  • Experience in Change Management , Engineering Management Systems / Quality Management Systems Project Management and delivery
