Programme Manager

You are a "doer" who can deliver immediate priorities whilst also working through more strategic priorities. You work fast and are accountable both individually and as part of a team.


Programme Manager will take responsibility for strategic areas of focus, regularly working with a wide-range of relevant stakeholders across the TOD’s content, marketing, commercial affairs, third-party partners/platforms and technology functions to drive product improvement, innovation and growth. You will work closely with the global product/technology organization to ensure MENA market needs are fulfilled.


Key responsibilities:


  • Work cross-functionally with TOD stakeholders to identify critical business blockers and collaborate to solve and optimize these.
  • Oversee end to end product improvement workflow using our management tools and systems
  • Identify and manage project risk through prioritization, bug management, and any other means necessary.
  • Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activities
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Manage independent projects within the workstream. Drive high quality output from process management. Lead project kick offs & meetings with cross functional groups for planning
  • Manage product release cycle.
  • Delegate requirements collection tasks based on product manager staff members' individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels.
  • Assist in the definition of product scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence.
  • Monitor the progress of development sprints, and product releases that are outsourced to technical vendors in accordance with allocated budgets.


Job Requirements and Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • You are customer-focused Project Manager with 5-7 years of experience in delivering digital project; experience in sport or media/OTT products/projects as a strong plus.
  • English language fluency; Arabic and other language skills extremely valuable.
  • You are passionate, engaging, flexible and persuasive – able to engage across a wide range of technical and non-technical stakeholders, articulate strategic vision to key stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data & metrics to back assumptions, recommendations and drive actions.
  • A multidisciplinary approach to solving problems.
  • Passion and enthusiasm for everything digital and, ideally, sports and entertainment.
  • Customer-centric and outcome-focused approach to delivery.
  • Strong track record in a Project Manager, Product Owner/Manager role, working in distributed scaled agile teams, preferably spanning multiple countries and cultures.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, management and consulting skills to draw out the real business needs.
  • Pragmatism to support product team in building a roadmap to that makes the right trade-off between scope and speed to maximize the value created by the development team.
  • Ability to priorities and multi-task with a flexible approach to work with changing deadlines and scope.
