Duties & Responsibilities:

1.       Proposal Development:

  • Analyze client requirements and specifications to create detailed and competitive proposals for low voltage electrical panels, UPS systems, and explosion-proof equipment.
  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals, ensuring compliance with client needs and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to gather necessary information and clarify project requirements.

2.      Client Interaction:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the proposal phase, addressing technical queries and providing timely responses.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring customer satisfaction.

3.      Project Estimation:

  • Conduct thorough cost estimations, including labour, materials, and overheads, to develop accurate pricing for proposals.
  • Analyse project scope and requirements to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.

4.      Technical Support:

  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams throughout the proposal and pre-sales phases.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, product advancements, and regulatory changes to ensure proposals reflect the latest standards and technologies.

5.      Documentation and Reporting:

  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive proposal documentation, including technical specifications, drawings, and compliance certificates.
  • Generate reports on proposal status, including win/loss ratios and feedback, to support continuous improvement

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with sales, engineering, and project management teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
  • Participate in internal meetings and contribute to the development of strategies to enhance proposal quality and effectiveness.


Skills

Job Specific Education & Certification:

  • Professional Engineering degree in Electrical
  • Experience range required 6-10 years.
  • Experience with advanced proposal management software and tools.
  • Knowledge of international standards and regulations related to electrical equipment.
