About the role:

At Hamad International Airport , we believe that success starts with exceptional people. We are on keen on finding the right personnel who will deliver complex and professional carpentry works at HIA.

Key Accountabilities:

• Deliver complex and professional carpentry works, not limited to hard or soft woods, and structural works
• Perform maintenance, renovations and construction carpentry work, not limited to cutting, joining, planning, sanding, and all related works
• Read and understand technical drawings, conduct site inspection to confirm accuracy of the drawing for the successful delivery of the project
• Assist in identifying suitable material to be ordered in advance
• Inspect materials to ensure they meet the desired specification, quality and free of defects
• Identify the correct and approved adhesives and consumables for the successful manufacture and installation of the requested product
• Operate complex carpentry machinery 
• Train and supervise junior staff ensuring projects are delivered within the agreed timeline and standards

Skills

About you:

High School qualification with minimum 3 years of work-related experience

Woodwork/carpentry certification

Experience with manufacture and installation of cabinetry and carpentry fixtures and fittings

Proficiency in written and spoken English
