Job Overview:
We are seeking an innovative and results-driven
Product Development and Sales Manager to oversee the creation and enhancement of flower products, while driving sales and market growth. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the flowers industry and will work closely with the marketing and sales teams to boost product visibility, optimize the product line, and increase revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of new floral products and improve existing product offerings based on market trends and customer feedback.
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities for new products and growth areas within the flower industry.
- Work with designers, growers, and suppliers to create innovative floral arrangements and products.
- Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to develop promotional strategies and campaigns to boost sales.
- Establish pricing strategies that balance profitability and customer value.
- Build relationships with key clients, wholesalers, and retailers to ensure product availability and drive sales growth.
- Analyze product performance and adjust the product mix or marketing strategies to optimize sales.
- Train and support the sales team to effectively sell and market the company’s floral products.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to keep the company’s product offerings competitive.
- Work closely with supply chain and operations to ensure timely delivery and availability of products.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Horticulture, or a related field.
- Proven experience in product development, sales, or business development within the floral or related industries.
- Strong understanding of floral design, product trends, and customer preferences in the flowers industry.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
- Ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, production).
