Job Description
Role Summary
A central and highly visible role that owns Vendor onboarding operation and vendor performance within talabat. Requires alignment with all internal and external stakeholders including managing and leading the Vendor Operations team and, working closely with Account Management, Sales Acquisition and Vendors Ensuring objectives and key results are met and country operational KPIs are well performing and maintained.
What’s On Your Plate?
- Leading the vendor onboarding team and is responsible for handling and improving the vendor onboarding process.
- Responsible for meeting the countries’ operational KPIs.
- Responsible for reporting KPIs in periodic and ad-hoc manners.
- Driving strategy for vendor performance and vendor onboarding.
- Handling and tackling the daily operational challenges ensuring escalating any system deficiencies and following up with internal/external stakeholders.
- Identify, solve, and define new SOP’s for vendor performance-related problems by analysing and deriving insights from large, complex sets of data.
- Work alongside the Sales and the logistics teams to reduce fail rate, restaurant delay, preparation time, and other relevant KPIs
- Provide input to the restaurant operations strategy and support its implementation in the country along the regional guidelines.
- Manage the inventory of vendor POS systems, including delivery of the devices and setup and troubleshooting
- Implement new solutions to optimise the onboarding process, such as self-lead onboarding.
Qualifications
What Did We Order?
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree. Ideally in an engineering field.
- 5-7 years of experience in operations/support functions and team management.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Able to lead a team of specialists and coordinators to achieve objectives.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills: Experience in dealing with cross-cultural team members and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to analyse data and derive insights from comprehensive data reports.
