This role will lead the project and operational activities ensuring that multiple services offered over the Wi-Fi Infrastructure are secured and available 24/7 for airport operations. Key responsibilities

• Responsible for providing technical and architectural leadership on Wireless technology initiatives.
• Responsible for planning & designing of Wi-Fi infrastructure in line with latest technology trends, implementing, managing and optimizing which includes site surveys, RF planning, and capacity planning.
• Ensure continual improvement in the Wi-Fi services by identifying and assessing innovative products/features that can offer new or improved capability to enhance customer experience.
• Support the 24x7 IT Network operations and provide technical support for Wi-Fi infrastructure.
• Responsible for developing and maintaining design, configuration and Standard Operating Procedure documentation.
• Responsible for conducting Root Cause Analysis of reported incidents in IT systems and ensure corrective actions are implemented in line with change management process.
• Responsible to secure the Wi-Fi infrastructure to protect the airport network from unauthorized access and threats. Periodically update and maintain security measures.
• Support infrastructure projects and ensure complying with established procedures, quality standards and methods to achieve targets of quality, cost, business benefits and timelines.
• Liaise with external suppliers and internal teams involved in both projects and operational maintenance of systems to meet business requirements.

Qualifications

About you:

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 8-10 years of relevant job experience required.
• Worked in Airport/Large Enterprise or Campus Network.
• Cisco CCNP/CCIE - Wireless certified or equivalent.
• Excellent design and documentation skills.
• Hands-on implementation and support experience in managing Airport/ Large enterprise Wi-Fi infrastructure involving more than Cisco or Aruba 5000 access points.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills in resolving complex issues related to connectivity, interference, and security by using tools such as AirMagnet, Ekahau, and Wireshark.
• Good knowledge in routing and Switching implementation and operations.
• Good written and spoken English.

Preferred:

• In depth knowledge on Wi-Fi technologies and hands-on experience in configuring Wi-Fi solution which involves integration with other applications.
• ITIL v3 Foundation Certified.
