About the role
You will be responsible for sourcing aircraft spares/tools and managing the component repair cycle at the lowest cost whilst ensuring part availability to meet the needs of aircraft maintenance.
Some of the tasks include: 
•    Review supplier quotations and negotiate best price and lead time/turn times ensuring maximum value for money in any buying or repair decisions.
•    Monitor aircraft materials requisitions on escalations; scrutinize the requirement along with related technical documents.
•    Progress, expedite outstanding orders, follow-up for shipments movement for MDD/critical parts and communicate delivery dates with the customers as required. Overdue orders should not exceed above 5%.
•    Explore open market to support demands on advance exchanges/loaners.
•    Prepare reports such as data analysis, cost benchmarking or presentations as requested by Senior Officer or Management.
•    Manage the team & work towards the achievement of set KPI’s.

Qualifications

About you
•    Minimum 3 years of job-related experience
•    Experience of aviation industry supply chain with aircraft material purchasing/rotable management
•    Ability to understand Technical Publications related to aircraft such as OEM RSPL, ATA chapters
•    Budget Management
•    Negotiation
•    Order Management
•    Ability to lead a team and delegate 
•    Excellent command of the English language, both verbally and in writing
