About the role

As the business expands, we are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to be part of Qatar Airways Cargo Product Team in Doha as a Cargo Network Planning Analyst.    

In this role you will be responsible for implementing solutions to achieve optimal cargo capacity for the company through clear and accurate business cases.

As part of your daily responsibilities, you will also:

  • Create commercial business cases for Cargo network development (e.g. new routes, capacity/frequency adjustments), with the aim of achieving optimum QR Group profitability
  • Consider all financial (revenue, cost, profitability) and non-financial (long-term strategy, focus markets, utilization) KPIs.
  • Provide cargo revenue and cost inputs for passenger business cases
  • Ensure coordination of plans and initiatives between key Cargo stakeholders
  • Explore viable commercial opportunities through market research and analysis

Qualifications

About you

  • Bachelor’s Degree, ideally with a major in Business, Economics, Computer Science or Engineering
  • Full Computer Literacy (Advanced MS Office)
  • Understanding of Financial Reporting (E.g. Balance Sheets, Income Statements)
  • Understanding of Scenario Planning
  • Basic Programming skills
  • Ability to manipulate and analyze large sets of data
  • Previous experience in Aviation industry preferred
