Job Title: Safety Officer (Indonesian National)

Location: Qatar

Start Date: Immediate

We are currently seeking a Safety Officer in Qatar. The ideal candidate must be Indonesian, fluent in both English and Bahasa, and available to join immediately.

Key Requirements:

• Nationality: Indonesian
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and Bahasa
• Experience: Previous experience as a Safety Officer in the construction / Oil & Gas industry is essential
• Availability: Must be able to join immediately

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• Diploma or equivalent qualification of a minimum one-year duration in Occupational Health & Safety or NEBOSH Diploma.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Occupational Health & Safety.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the Construction / Oil & Gas industry.
• Good understanding of risk assessment methodologies, reactive and proactive monitoring techniques, and incident investigation techniques.
• Good understanding of hazards and controls related to work at height, confined spaces, rigging and lifting, scaffolding, and hot/open flame work.
• Good knowledge and understanding of occupational health hazard controls and monitoring
• Implement safety procedures and protocols on-site
• Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Investigate accidents and incidents, and report findings
