Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 7-8 years of experience in sales engineering within the electrical industry, with a deep understanding of low voltage electrical panels, UPS systems, and explosion-proof equipment. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent technical and sales skills, capable of driving business growth and managing key client relationships effectively.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy and Execution:
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive growth in the low voltage electrical panels, UPS, and explosion-proof equipment sectors
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including lead generation, prospecting, and qualification of potential clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Provide in-depth technical knowledge and expertise to clients, addressing their needs and recommending optimal solutions
  • Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and technical consultations to showcase the benefits and features of our products
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and competitor activities to provide valuable insights and stay ahead in the market
  • Proposal and Quotation Management:
  • Collaborate with the proposal team to develop accurate and competitive quotations for clients, ensuring alignment with their requirements
  • Review and analyse client specifications, drawings, and project scopes to provide tailored solutions and detailed proposals
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions, and close sales deals effectively
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for major accounts, managing relationships and addressing any issues or concerns that arise
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring timely resolution of technical and operational issues
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to improve product offerings and service delivery
  • Market and Business Development:
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and potential areas for business expansion
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, campaigns, and strategies to enhance brand visibility and market presence
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with internal teams, including engineering, project management, and customer support, to ensure seamless execution of projects and customer satisfaction
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior sales engineers and other team members


Job Specific Education & Certification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7-8 years of experience in sales engineering or a similar role within the electrical industry
  • Demonstrated expertise in low voltage electrical panels, UPS systems, and explosion-proof equipment
  • Strong technical knowledge and ability to understand complex electrical systems and applications
  • Proven track record of successful sales performance and meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and manage key accounts effectively
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools


Skills & Competencies:

  • Experience in managing large-scale projects and contracts
  • Familiarity with international standards and regulations related to electrical equipment
