K108 Hotel Doha is a renowned hotel offering exceptional hospitality and service in the heart of Qatar's capital. We are urgently looking for a Purchasing Coordinator with relevant hotel experience in Qatar to join our team immediately. The candidate must be available locally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage procurement activities for hotel operations
- Ensure timely sourcing and delivery of goods and services, including F&B, housekeeping supplies, and maintenance items
- Maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and handle vendor management
- Track and monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstock situations
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, hotel standards, and budget constraints
- Collaborate with various departments, including F&B, housekeeping, and engineering, to fulfill purchasing needs
- Prepare purchase orders, review invoices, and handle follow-up for timely delivery
- Assist in vendor performance evaluation and cost analysis to optimize procurement strategies
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Purchasing Coordinator or in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry in Qatar
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and supply chain management
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and purchasing software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
- Immediate availability to join
- Candidate must be currently based in Qatar
