Social Media Marketing Specialist

We are looking for a dynamic Social Media and Events Specialist to manage our social media presence and coordinate high-impact events that enhance brand visibility and engagement.


Key Responsibilities :


  1. Social Media Management
  • Content Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement a social media content strategy aligned with the company’s marketing goals and brand voice. Ability to manage social media agencies to develop and implement social media strategy.
  • Content Creation & Curation: Create, curate, and manage social media content (text, images, video) that resonates with the target audience.
  • Engagement: Monitor and respond to social media interactions to foster engagement, build community, and manage online reputation.
  • Platform Management: Oversee social media accounts (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.) ensuring consistent activity and brand representation.
  • Campaign Development: Collaborate with the marketing team to run paid social media campaigns, tracking performance and optimizing for reach and engagement.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Use social media analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and provide regular performance reports, adjusting strategies where needed.


2. Event Planning & Execution

  • Event Strategy: Assist in the development of event marketing strategies to promote products/services and engage audiences.
  • Event Planning & Coordination: Coordinate the planning and logistics of corporate events, trade shows, conferences, and community events.
  • Vendor & Venue Management: Work with vendors, venues, and suppliers to organize event services, including catering, audiovisuals, transportation, and decorations.
  • On-site Management: Oversee event setup, registration, coordination, and post-event teardown to ensure smooth execution.
  • Audience Engagement: Create and manage promotional materials, email invites, and event landing pages to drive attendance and participation.
  • Post-event Analysis: Conduct post-event evaluation, including feedback collection, social media engagement tracking, and financial analysis to assess success and areas for improvement.


3. Collaboration & Coordination

  • Cross-departmental Collaboration: Work with marketing, design, PR, and operation teams to ensure alignment in messaging and promotional strategies across social media and events.
  • Partner & Sponsorship Management: Coordinate with external partners, sponsors, and influencers for event promotion and social media collaborations.


4. Brand Representation & Community Building

  • Brand Advocacy: Serve as the brand ambassador at events and on social platforms, ensuring all interactions align with the company's tone, values, and image.
  • Influencer Partnerships: Identify and collaborate with influencers to promote brand awareness and event participation.
  • Audience Growth: Use organic and paid strategies to grow social media followers and event attendees.


5. Budget & Resource Management

  • Budget Management: Manage budgets for social media campaigns and event marketing, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate resources and manage timelines for projects, campaigns, and events to ensure deadlines are met without exceeding budgets.


6. Competitor & Trend Analysis

  • Social Media Trends: Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices to implement innovative and competitive strategies.
  • Competitor Analysis: Monitor competitor social media activities and events to ensure the company stays ahead in engagement and visibility.


Experience & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Event Management, or a related field.
  • Certifications in social media marketing, digital marketing, or event planning (preferred but not mandatory).
  • 2-4 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or event coordination.
  • Proven experience managing corporate social media accounts and developing successful social media campaigns.
  • Event planning experience, particularly in organizing corporate events, trade shows, or promotional activities.
  • Experience in managing paid social media campaigns (Facebook Ads, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads) and knowledge of SEO and web analytics tools.
  • Experience in collaborating with influencers, brand partners, or managing partnerships (preferred).
  • Preferably bilingual Arabic and English
  • Strong communication skills: both written and verbal, with an eye for detail in content creation


Skills

  • Creative skills: Ability to create engaging content (writing, images, and video).
  • Proficiency in social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, etc.).
  • Knowledge of event management platforms and tools (Eventbrite, Cvent, etc.).
  • Graphic design skills (basic knowledge of tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing metrics and reporting tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.).
  • Project management skills: ability to plan, coordinate, and execute multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Budget management: Experience managing and optimizing budgets for social media campaigns and events.
