We are seeking an experienced Painting and Coating Inspector to join our team in the oil and gas industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that painting and coating applications meet industry standards, specifications, and regulations. The inspector will work on-site to monitor and inspect painting and coating processes, materials, and finished products to ensure quality and integrity.

- Conduct visual inspections of painting and coating applications to ensure compliance with industry standards, specifications, and regulations

- Review and interpret project specifications, drawings, and documentation

- Monitor and control painting and coating processes, including surface preparation, application, and curing

- Inspect materials and equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards

- Identify and report defects, damage, or non-conformities

- Collaborate with contractors, fabricators, and operators to resolve issues and improve quality

- Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and reports

- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, standards, and best practices

Skills

- Minimum 10 years of experience as a painting and coating inspector in the oil and gas industry

- CIP Level 2 or higher

- CSWIP Grade 2

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Code knowledge in NACE, BS, SSPC, TWI, etc.

- Should be locally available in Qatar with valid QID and DVC Documents
