Field Planner/ Scheduler

  • Provide planning & scheduling support to Projects whilst leading the planning & scheduling function within CCED to ensure maximum utilization of labor, tools, machine and equipment for all manufacturing and material handling operations.
  • Responsible for developing a realistic project plan and schedule to meet the project objectives. Responsible for ensuring that proper Work Breakdown Structures Produces project cost estimates
  • Maintaining all aspects of the Projects planning & scheduling activities but not limited to end-to-end planning and control activities including planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting for project teams, management using Primavera 6 or MS project Planning and schedule preparation for ongoing construction projects.
  • Coordinating and leading efforts for preparing detail primavera schedules for project/s.
  • Set work program and target milestones for each phase based on the project plan.
  • Project monitoring, tracking, and updating on weekly basis with critical path analysis and look ahead planning.
  • Resource loading of the schedule and preparation of S curves. Weekly updates of S curves showing planned and actual progress.
  • Monitor daily work progress and prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
  • Weekly Earned Value Analysis and reporting.
  • Identify the activities affecting the project plan and establishing means/methods for recovery planning.
  • Change management for manufacturing scope of work.
  • Supporting the proposal process with Level3 project schedule. Daily coordination and weekly look ahead planning meeting with manufacturing for tracking of project.
  • Coordinating and expediting with sub-contractors for outsourced manufactured items.
  • Actively participate in internal project review meetings and review meetings with Client.


Skills

  • Degree in Bachelor of Science in Engineering
  • 15 year’s total minimum experience
  • 10 year’s total minimum experience in Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical Industry
  • Proven Work experience in ERP (SAP, MS Dynamic or similar)
  • Production Planning, Material Management & Project Planning Modules.
  • Proficient understanding of Primavera, MS Projects software and AutoCAD Advance skills in Microsoft Office including Excel.
  • Excellent and topical knowledge of structuring Project Schedules including Work Breakdown
  • Structures, Activities, Milestones, and their associated network dependencies. 
  • Strong leadership skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving manufacturing / scheduling related issues.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Management skills.
  • Oman Current driving license.
