The Group HR and General Service Manager is responsible for overseeing the human resources and general service functions across the organization’s group companies. This role ensures that HR policies are aligned with business objectives, provides strategic leadership in people management, and maintains high standards for general services such as facilities, security, and administrative support.
HR Management
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Oversee recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes for all group companies.
- Manage and monitor performance appraisal systems and provide coaching for career development.
- Lead employee engagement programs and foster a positive company culture across all group offices.
- Design and manage compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain talent.
- Ensure legal compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Develop and oversee learning and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
- Implement succession planning to ensure the sustainability of the business through effective leadership.
- Handle employee relations and ensure that grievance handling, dispute resolution, and disciplinary actions are managed fairly.
General Service Management
- Oversee and manage the general service functions, including office administration, facilities management, security, and housekeeping.
- Ensure efficient operations and maintenance of company facilities, including workspace planning and asset management.
- Manage company vehicles, logistics, and travel arrangements for staff.
- Develop and enforce security policies to ensure the safety of the premises and staff.
- Ensure cost-effective procurement and vendor management for general services supplies and contracts.
- Coordinate with IT and other departments to ensure smooth operational support services.
Qualification & Experiences
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Professional HR certification is an advantage.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in HR management and general services, preferably within a multi-site or group company.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR policies, and regulations of Qatar.
- Proven experience in strategic planning and operational management.
