Job description: Job Purpose
Key Job Accountabilities - I

Regularly track and manage laboratory inventory , monitor, and maintain chemicals, glassware, and spare parts records and issue internal and external reports as needed; evaluate stock levels and optimize inventory.

Provide detailed estimates of the quantity of materials required, ensure materials of the appropriate specification are ordered, and quality standards are documented to comply with Company practices.

Assist with the preparation of procurement plans, create all direct materials requisitions, and closely coordinate with Supply department to ensure timely delivery according to priority.

Participate in meetings with supply teams to review requisitions and all vendor documentation to ensure items meet laboratory specifications.

Assist in the Implement of an inventory control system capable of identifying discrepancies and taking corrective action to ensure inventory counts are accurate.

Regularly monitor and update Laboratory environmental condition records for audit.

Ensure the safe handling, transportation and storage of hydrocarbon loading retention samples and participate in audits to ensure specifications are following Company policy and procedures.

Schedule and coordinate the timely disposal of chemicals and other hazardous wastes .

Work closely with other laboratory staff and management to address any inventory , waste disposal, or safety concerns.
Qualifications
Knowledge and/or Experience - I
-
3 years of direct relevant experience in the oil and gas sector.

Knowledge of laboratory testing methods, chemical and sample-handling protocols, and data analysis.
Technical and Business Skills - I
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
- Computer skills, including MS Office Suite and other relevant programs.
- Report writing and analytical skills.
