Job Description

What you will be doing:

Assistant Conference and Events Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue and ensuring the success of social & corporate events of the hotel by being the primary point of contact for guests who will organize events.

  • Responsible for the sales of social events with focus on weddings, celebrations and corporate events.
  • Manage the entire sales process from initial inquiry to event confirmation and communication.
  • Conduct site tours and presentations to showcase the venue's facilities and services.
  • Address client inquiries, preferences and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • To be proactive in upselling and cross selling services with the right pricing to maximize revenue for the hotel.
  • Ensures collaboration and communication with operations team and internal departments to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Involve in the business planning process along with the Director of Events to achieve the sales goals of the hotel.
  • Generate leads through various channels, including networking and referrals.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all sales activities.
  • Foster strong relationships with Wedding Planners and Event Management Companies.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

  • This role requires exceptional interpersonal skills and strong organizational abilities.
  • A deep understanding of the Social and Corporate Event industry.
  • Proficiency in Arabic Language is a mandatory requirement for this role.
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Events Sales , preferably within the wedding or event industry.
  • Strong Connection with Weddings and Event Planners in local market would be an added advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
