Job Title: Senior Estimation Engineer (E&I)

Job Purpose:

Prepare tenders and estimates for electrical and instrumentation (E&I) projects, ensuring compliance with client requirements and company standards, and manage subcontract and procurement processes post-contract award.

Key Accountabilities:

Estimation and Tendering:

• Evaluate tenders and enquiries.
• Liaise with clients to clarify scope, specifications, and standards.
• Obtain supplier quotations for materials and services.
• Prepare prime cost estimates for management approval and tender submission.
• Document deviations from contracted work scope and prepare claims for additional works.

Project Coordination:

• Ensure compliance with company, client, and statutory safety regulations.
• Monitor job costs and implement company quality procedures and client standards.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of departmental systems, policies, processes, and procedures.

Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and relevant quality, health, safety, security, and environmental procedures.
• Report accidents, incidents, and near-misses.
• Authority to stop work if it is unsafe.

Management and Reporting:

• Maintain records and prepare recruitment progress reports.
• Ensure team compliance with all policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering
• Preferred: Master’s Degree in Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering
• Required: Minimum of 7 years in E&I Estimation Engineering within the Oil & Gas industry (Offshore and Onshore)
• Preferred: Experience in EPIC (Engineering, Procurement, Installation, and Commissioning), Sales, Shutdown, and Manpower Supply.
• Required: Proficient in English
• Preferred: Knowledge of Arabic
