Primary Purpose Of Job
Coordinate and support stock Optimization activities for ensuring healthy stock levels and eliminate redundant and obsolete
stocks. Review and coordinate with Project Engineers / Project team for processing of SPIRs, SPF and code change /
obsolescence requests, validate data and expedite hand over of Materials to ensure timely stock availability. Analyse,
process and maintain MRP (materials requirement planning) through electronic inventory control system for Inventory stock
as assigned, including verifying and expediting the existing requirements, for timely stock replenishment to ensure
continuity of production operations. Review and update all stock control parameters reflecting usage, forecasted
requirements, engineering specifications and classifications for items held in stock.
Experience & Skills
Minimum of 8-10 years experience in Oil and Gas operations or related materials environment with good understanding of
ERP process in materials and supply chain management.
- Computer literate with expertise in Microsoft Excel.
- Extensive knowledge in maintenance and engineering materials spare parts inventory control and systems.
- Analytical skills in materials requirement forecasting.
- Comprehensive understanding of Oil and Gas and Petro-chemical industry engineering materials, specifications,
standards, drawings and spare parts inter-changeability.
- Excellent level of verbal and written English and technical communications with Planning Engineers.
Education
HND in Engineering discipline or equivalent in Supply Chain Management.
