Job Summary:
We are looking for a competitive and target oriented Sales Engineer / Sales Executive to help us build up our business activities. He will be responsible for discovering and pursuing new sales prospects and maximizing the business. The goal is to meet and surpass the company’s expectations to drive rapid and sustainable growth.
Job Description:
• Responsible for achieving budgeted revenue targets.
• Plan and implement marketing activities (direct and cold calls, emails, and use of social media, customer visits and other marketing techniques) to agreed budgets to achieve or exceed target sales volumes and revenues within agreed time lines.
• Respond to and maintain close follow up of all sales enquiries.
• Maintain and develop existing and new customers through planned individual account support and liaison with client decision makers.
• Work with Marketing and Sales Teams to carry out market research, customer surveys, competitor analysis and be knowledgeable about general market conditions in order to input and update Sales plan on an ongoing basis to grow the business.
• Identifying the potential projects starting from design stage thru tendering and construction stage.
• Meet clients, consultants in order to specify and list our products in the project preferred vendor list.
• Obtain the approvals required in advance for our products from the designated bodies.
• Prepare case-to-case products submittals in order to meet the project specification and the consultant’s acceptance and client satisfaction.
• Receive the request of Quotation, Preparing and submitting commercial and technical offer, follow up the offers, new customer development, and supervise all operational activities to ensure the highest customer satisfaction.
• Contribute to the company culture of continuous improvement and working as a team.
• Assist Sales Manager in the preparation of the budget. Job Requirements:
• Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality and business profit.
• Graduation or equivalent Degree in business, sales or marketing will be an advantage.
• Minimum 4-5 years relevant experience in Sales or Business Development, preferably from the Oil & Gas industry or a similar professional services organization, with a multinational or multicultural work environment.
• Must have experience in selling Oil & Gas products like Pipes, fittings etc.
• Ability to communicate effectively at different levels within organizations and to influence successfully and openly at all levels - both inside our organization and outside in the business.
• Natural forward planner who critically assesses own performance.
• Reliable, Receptive and Persistent.
• Empathic communicator, able to see things from the other person's point of view.
Skills
• Experience in sales or business development is an advantage.
• Previous success and experience managing client accounts, particularly achieving genuine sales targets.
• Enjoyment of building relationships, with the ability to pro-actively drive the development of a network of key relationships internally and externally.
• Ability to develop strategic action plans based on input from key persons.
• Demonstrate professional people skills and promote a team working environment across the area of business.
• Demonstrate motivational skills in directing colleagues to achieve business objectives.
• Flexible approach to adjust role as the position develops. Mandatory Requirements:
• Must have Oil & Gas industry experience.
• Must have Qatar Driving license.
• Transferable Visa with NOC will be preferred.
