Senior Sales Operations Agent

Qatar Airways (QR) have embarked on an exciting transformation journey to change how we interact with our customers.  As part of this journey, we are now recruiting for the role of Senior Sales Operations Agent. 

Based in the US in cities we operate out of,  you will be responsible for providing five-star service to Qatar Airways internal and external customers.  Act as Qatar Airways product and process expert by supporting the team with daily sales operations tasks, including but not limited to reservations and ticketing, Trade/Corporate Account support, Group Sales, and Sales Administration. 

Specific Accountabilities Include:

  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedure for sales operations functions to ensure alignment to QR's global sales/sales operations principles. 
  • Act as product knowledge expert for trade support tasks, supporting reservations, ticketing, FFP, One World, Beyond Business and Corporate queries.
  •  Assist  internal sales teams, travel agents with their queries, and escalations to ensure efficiency and quality services. 
  •  Assist with fare rule interpretation, refund calculations and processing of refunds
  •  Maintain and generate reports as required by reporting Line Manager.
  • Be the primary person in following up with internal departments, customers and trade partners on enquiries and requests. 
  • Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of Department.

Qualifications

About You: The successful candidate will have the following: 

  • Good English communication skills - spoken and written.
  • Well versed in MS Office
  • Excellent relationship building and communication skills.
  • Advanced Amadeus / GDS literacy
  • Basic knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce, etc.)
  • Fares and ticketing exposure
  • Problem-solving skills
  • You must be authorized to work lawfully in the US.
  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
