Job Summary
- The HSE Electrical Duty Holder is responsible to manage and train other health and safety staff members and frequently travel to perform field investigations and respond to incident reports to reduce potential hazards within an assigned workplace.
Job Responsibilities 1
- Take responsibility for ensuring electrical safety standards and regulations are implemented and maintained throughout the organization.
- Conduct risk assessments for electrical hazards in the workplace and implement controls to mitigate risks.
- Monitor compliance with electrical safety regulations, codes, and standards, and take corrective actions as necessary.
- Provide training and education on electrical safety procedures, practices, and regulations to employees.
- Investigate electrical incidents and accidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Develop and implement emergency procedures for electrical incidents, including evacuation plans and response protocols.
- Ensure regular inspection, testing, and maintenance of electrical equipment and installations to prevent malfunctions and hazards.
- Maintain accurate records of electrical safety procedures, incidents, inspections, and training activities.
- Communicate effectively with employees, contractors, and management regarding electrical safety policies, procedures, and requirements.
- Continuously review and improve electrical safety practices and procedures to enhance workplace safety and prevent accidents.

Deep understanding of electrical safety regulations, codes, and standards.
Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and implementing controls to mitigate electrical hazards.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and installations.
Excellent communication skills to convey safety procedures and requirements effectively.
Ability to lead and coordinate safety initiatives and training programs within the organization.
ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
Job Experience
Minimum 5 year(s) working experience, 3 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year (s) GCC is a plus
