Job Purpose
- Establish and implement the Fire Prevention programme and coordinate the Shutdown Fire Prevention & emergency response activities to enforce compliance with safe response, fire prevention practices and codes & standards.
Qualifications
- Completed higher secondary education.
- Completion of associated/relevant qualifications (Fire-Fighter I & II, Crew Command, Watch Command, Command & Operation, Fire Inspector 1, Fire Service Instructor I, Advanced HSE Advisor or Fire Investigation).
Knowledge And/or Experience
- 6 years' experience, including 3 years in fire prevention in Energy and/ or process industry.
- Knowledge of current national and international legislation related to Fire Prevention, Emergency Response and Rescue.
- Evidence of fire prevention achievement.
Technical And Business Skills
- Independent, able to work under minimum supervision.
- Ability to work under tight timelines in sometimes high-pressure situations.
- Computer literacy (MS Office).
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
- Confident and clear presentation development and delivery
