Become the ambassador and the orchestrator of Qatar Airways Cargo VISION 2027.

As the business expands, we are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to be part of the Qatar Airways Cargo Management Team in Doha as a Cargo Processes & Policies Controls Officer.   

You will be responsible for analyzing, writing and reviewing procedures, as well as recommending improvements thereof, ensuring compliance with cargo policies, corporate policies and directives, industry regulations, international standards, and other industry-imposed standards.

We need you to share your skills and fresh ideas, this includes:

  • Adjust the existing procedures by incorporating process improvements to close process gaps and remove duplicated tasks and/or activities.
  • Consolidate the observations on new procedures by obtaining feedback from stakeholders intra/inter-cargo to gauge the effectiveness of the procedures implemented.
  • Assist user departments by understanding the department’s core processes and their needs and expectations to come up with adequate, relevant and effective documented procedures.
  • Assess process efficiencies by conducting gap analysis to determine the weak points and areas for potential improvements.
  • Discuss with process owners recommended or "to be" procedures in connection with management mandate, audit findings, or compliance with corporate policies and/or industry standards or rules.
  • Perform the preparatory activities related to the ISO 9001 and IATA CEIV by reviewing the ISO and IATA CEIV standards and requirements with process owners and other relevant departments to ensure that the information is valid, current, accurate and compliant
  • Conduct internal audit related to the division’s compliance to QR Cargo Quality Management Systems based on ISO 9001 standards.

Qualifications

About you

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of solid experience in Process Mapping, Policies and Procedures writing.
  • Proficient in written and oral communications in English.
  • Excellent Analytical skills.
