Job Objective 

• Provide technical and operational support to the Safety Department and company facilities by delivering effective emergency response.
• Support compliance requirements in Fire Safety and Emergency Response according to industry standards to ensure reliable and timely response to any emergency situation.

Job Responsibilities

• Follow the Emergency Management Procedure roles and responsibilities related to the Incident Command System.
•  Assist the Fire Safety Coordinator with all Emergency Response Team (ERT) classroom training, the field exercises, quarterly shift drill and joint drills with the Industrial Cities Fire Departments.
•  Participate in JSAs, open flame hot work, Fire box inspections, Lock Tag & Try partial breakage, critical lifts, stores all closed-out confined space entry permits, etc.
• Follow internal Standard Operating Procedures of the developed schedules of inspection, testing, maintenance, inventory management and record keeping of all emergency response equipment (fixed and mobile) i.e., fire extinguishers, SCBA's, hydrants, monitors, PIV's, pumps, engines, safety showers, etc. to ensure proper compliance.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Safety Management, Paramedic, Occupational Safety, or any similar discipline.
• 3-5 years of similar experience in fire services or experience in industrial firefighting.
