Logistics Officer

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented
Logistics Officer to join our team! In this role you will get to
coordinating activities, schedules, and resources in support of the construction areas.
What You'll Be Doing
- Identify, mobilize resources, implement, and report on special logistics operations.
- Support logistics operations with other project in the area.
- Co-ordinate logistics operations with other project in the area.
- Secure the roads to get to the projects and places of work (contractors developers)
- Control the movement of vehicles within the site and readiness for action.
- Monitoring of the storage material within the site (soil- different materials)
- Monitor placed the site offices within the project and properly so does not contradict with the rest of the developers plan to enter the site and reviewing logistics plans.
- Monitoring work in logistic area and provide ways to get to the projects.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed as well as determine and manage priorities with minimal guidance.
What Required Skills You'll Bring
- Bachelor of Engineering degree in a relevant discipline
- 4+ years in logistics works.
- Knowledge and understanding of the construction work.
- Good management and administration skills,
- Good supervisory and leadership skills,
- Capable of planning and handling employees and solving problems
- Familiar with the local roads and transport conditions.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring
- Excellent interpersonal, report writing and communication skills.
- Good level of written and spoken English / Arabic is an advantage
- Good level of computer skills
