About the role:

 

Qatar Airways are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our Crew Resources team as a Lead Crew Training Planning Officer to be based in Doha, Qatar.

 

As a Lead Crew Training Planning Officer, you will be responsible for leading training planning arrangements for flight deck crew across all training types to ensure compliance with the company and regulatory requirements.

 

Specific responsibilities for the role include:

  • Ensure QCAA regulations and other requirements are complied with.
  • Ensure maintenance of all electronic records related to training and checking.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and instructions from department management.
  • Ensure NIL violations in planned training rosters.
  • Build training plans and optimize resources for flight deck crew.
  • Analyse information and statistics to provide advice on training and checking impact and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Provides analysis on trainer and facility resource requirements.
  • Ensures ab-initio, recurrent, promotion, line and all other training and checking requirements are met.

Qualifications

About you

 

The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Relevant College or University qualification with a minimum of 5 years job-related experience.
  • Work experience in crew training planning related role is highly desirable.
  • Good understanding of crew resource planning, processes, theories and methodologies.
  • Detailed knowledge of regulatory requirements especially check/training compliance.
  • Proven ability to maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders.
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) skills.
  • Excellent planning and report writing skills.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English.
