About the role:

 

Qatar Airways are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our Pre-ops & Crew Control team as a Pre-Ops & Crew Control Officer to be based in Doha, Qatar.

 

As a Pre-Ops & Crew Control Officer, you will be responsible for responsible for carrying out crew roster maintenance, monitoring and support activities to meet operational requirements and situations as well as communicating operational changes to cabin crew and flight crew.

 

Specific responsibilities for the role include:

  • Crew Roster Management: Monitor and maintain crew rosters to ensure compliance with QCAA and company regulations, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
  • System Modifications: Utilize the TOPS crew tracking system to make necessary adjustments to crew rosters, ensuring adherence to regulations and company rules.
  • Effective Communication: Relay roster changes, flight delays, and cancellations to crew members through appropriate channels.
  • Crew Allocation: Ensure the correct crew complement for each flight using available systems, meeting operational requirements efficiently.
  • Route Finalization: Update crew routes in case of flight cancellations or aircraft changes, ensuring timely notifications and compliance with regulations.
  • KPI Maintenance: Allocate crew duties efficiently, considering resource availability and operational risk, while maintaining key performance indicators like safety, cost, and roster stability.
  • Incident Reporting: Report any crew-related incidents to senior officers to ensure smooth operations and keep stakeholders informed.

Qualifications

About you

 

The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Relevant College or University qualification with a minimum of 4 years job-related experience.
  • Detailed knowledge of regulatory requirements.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders.
  • High Level of problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English.
