Job description

The Mechanic is responsible for the effective and efficient installation, repair and maintenance of purchased items by the clients and ensuring provision of excellent aftersales customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain outdoor and sports equipment as required through the job orders within the stipulated timeframe.
• Diagnose technical issues on items for repair and recommend solutions.
• Install and adjust speed and gear mechanisms.
• Assemble new bicycles.
• Install, repair, and replace equipment or accessories, such as handlebars, stands, lights, and seats.
• Align wheels.
• Disassemble axles in order to repair, adjust, and replace defective parts, using hand tools.
• Repair holes in tire tubes, using scrapers and patches.
• Maintain work tools and equipment.
• Follow set processes and policies.
• Take notes of all the works done on bikes + update the database

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in bicycle and sports equipment shop

• Chain check, replacement
