- Develop strategies and concepts to secure the railway corridor (national and / or international routes), stations, freight facilities, depots and critical infrastructure.
- Develop strategies and concepts for securing origin (O) to a destination (D) concept for international travel without the need to stop at the border for inspection (for passenger and freight transport).
- Develop strategies and concepts for securing facilities in both operational and construction phases.
- Develop and provide strategic advice to inform negotiations for Intergovernmental agreements as pertaining to cross border operations.
- Support preparation of tender documents or any other documents required for the procurement of cross border operations and enabling activities.
- Developing innovative and state-of-the-art security solutions to secure the railway network, making use of latest industry best practice.
- Evaluation of pilot studies and assessment to inform reporting to the executive.
- Min. 10 years with railway security. Preferably with background in strategic military operations and government security interface.
- Background in providing expert advice into the security elements as pertaining to the design and build of greenfield / brownfield railway networks in the Arabian Gulf.
- Extensive knowledge of GCC government security and emergency services infrastructure.
- Extensive knowledge in all fields of transport security planning, physical security, security integration and frameworks.
- Extensive knowledge of security, emergency response and crisis requirements for designing and building greenfield railway networks.
- Knowledge of cross border security, immigration, and regulatory processes.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with Arabian Gulf Stakeholder engagement.
- Extensive experience in railway Security Threat and Risk assessments and mitigation solutions.
