This role is crucial for driving financial results and overall business development of the Company and its brands. Responsibilities include developing and implementing sales and marketing plans to achieve objectives, increase market share, build brand equity, maximize revenue, and drive profitability.
Strategy & Planning:
- Manage Marketing 4Ps (product, price, place, promotion)
- Brand management and development (positioning, identity)
- Trade marketing (activations, exhibitions, incentive plans)
- Route to market (RTM) management and performance oversight
Budgeting & Financial Management:
- Handle commercial budgets (volumes, prices, expenses, cost simulations)
- Ensure financial objectives (Revenue, GP, GM%) are met
- Analyze value chain for net price realization improvements
- Monitor product costs, simulate RM fluctuations, adjust pricing strategy
- Guide and control marketing spending to align with budgets
Business Development:
- Plan and follow up on business growth in:
- Distributors’ food service channels
- Distributors’ retail channels
- Existing customers
- New direct customers (local, export)
Account & Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain key Food Service customer relationships
- Lead key accounts, coordinate operations, and ensure demand fulfillment
- Manage pricing, invoicing, production, and logistics
New Product Development (NPD):
- Develop NPD pipeline based on market insights and profitability
- Oversee product development, specifications, and packaging
- Plan and execute product launches
Stock Management:
- Plan and monitor stocks and projections with Demand & Planning
Reporting and Performance Management:
- Prepare business review materials monthly, quarterly, and annually
Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
- Assess risks and take actions to mitigate slow movements, RM issues, and competitive threats
Cross-Function Collaboration:
- Lead operations to achieve commercial objectives, facilitate internal communications, and solve bottlenecks creatively and promptly
Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
• 5-7 years of experience in a commercial or sales management role, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
• Strong understanding of commercial and financial principles.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Strategic thinking and ability to develop and execute commercial strategies.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• High Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
• High level of integrity and ethical standards.
• Strong command in English (E.g: IELTS or TOFEI English test)
