Process & Compliance Manager

· The Process and Compliance Manager coordinates the creation, review and implementation of policies and procedures for the business unit to ensure our business unit adopts to best in class internal controls and ensures compliance with group internal policies.

· Process and Compliance Manager apply and interpret audit and compliance requirements for various departments. Interact with variance departments and stakeholders to define processes & standards for organization’s internal controls, and assess potential fraud activity, plus develop fraud detection tools.

· Process and Compliance Manager is well-versed in internal control best practices and being able to design, provide guidelines, articulate & implement process to minimize the control risks and enable efficient store operations & governance.

· Process and Compliance Manager will be responsible for enforcing controls in all aspects and levels of business as well as provide guidance on process compliance matters for seamless and efficient department store operations.

· Being professional of high ethical standards and work diligently to complete the duties keeping in mind the objectives of the business. You must be comfortable saying “no” when necessary and be result-oriented.

· The goal is to preserve the company’s integrity by making sure it stays on a lawful and ethical course.

Skills

Academic / Educational requirements

A bachelor’s degree in the following fields is must:

· Business Administration / Management

· Accounting / Economics

Certified compliance professional / Certification in Internal Audit is a plus.

· Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)

· An analytical mind able to “see” the complexities of procedures and regulations.

· Problem solving mindset.

· Ability to manage and priorities work.

· Proven experience as compliance manager

· In-depth knowledge of the industry’s standards and regulations

· Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping

· A business acumen partnered with a dedication to legality.

· Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities.
