Leading Multidisciplinary Main Contractor is seeking an Italian Speaking Mechanical Engineer to work alongside the MEP Director handling projects in Europe & Qatar. Operating on a Global Scale handling Major Design & Build projects – 5* Hotels, Power stations, Military’s Projects & Mixed Use Commercial. Reporting directly into the MEP Director who heads the department. Business has 5 Live Projects in Qatar , 6 in Italy & 3 In Holland . Your line Manager is Italian and due to the workload , clients and future opportunities they want this person to be fluent Italian speaking. You will be adding value at both precontract and execution stage liaising with clients, designers & MEP Sub-Contractors. Responsibilities: Design and development of HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, and external utility systems. Collaboration and coordination with internal and external design teams to ensure compliance with project standards. Oversight and management of projects from concept to final realization, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. Technical analysis and engineering solution optimization to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs. Preparation and review of technical documentation, including CAD drawings, technical specifications, and evaluation reports. Experience in using HAP or other software to perform a true energy analysis, using measured weather data for all hours of the year to calculate building loads, air system operation, and plant equipment operation.

Following is 100% Essential: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field At least 5 years of experience in designing HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, and external utility systems Proven ability to manage and coordinate complex projects and effectively interface with external designers Strong proficiency in CAD software and other engineering design tools Problem-solving skills, analytical capability, and attention to detail Must be open to travel to meet business needs You will be fluent in ENGLISH + Italian Able to start employment before the 1st of October
