Role Description The Public Relations Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Doha, Qatar. This role is responsible for managing the company’s public image, developing PR campaigns, and ensuring consistent messaging across all communication channels. Day-to-day tasks include drafting press releases, organizing media events, coordinating interviews, and maintaining strong relationships with journalists and media outlets. The Public Relations Officer will monitor media coverage, prepare reports and talking points, and collaborate with marketing and brand teams to align PR activities with broader business objectives. The role also involves responding to public and media inquiries, supporting crisis communication efforts, and identifying opportunities to increase brand visibility across target markets. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Public Relations and Media Relations skills, with experience managing brand reputation and external communications. Candidates should possess expertise in Press Releases and Strategic Communications, including the ability to craft clear, impactful messages for diverse audiences. Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including confident written and verbal communication, presentation abilities, and interpersonal skills. Candidates should possess the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Relevant experience in PR, communications, or marketing, preferably within entertainment, gaming, or FMCG industries, is beneficial. A bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with regional media landscape in Qatar and the broader MENA region, and proficiency in English (Arabic is an advantage), is beneficial.
