We are seeking an experienced Rolling Stock Overhaul Supervisor to lead and supervise the overhaul and maintenance of rolling stock components including bogies, couplers, gangways, doors, HVAC systems, and other related equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the daily production plan, ensuring all overhaul activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with approved maintenance procedures, railway standards, and HSE requirements. The role will also drive productivity, quality, continuous improvement, and the development of a high-performing maintenance team.
Qualifications & Experience Essential Diploma or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Railway Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Minimum 5 years of experience in rolling stock maintenance, overhaul, railway, metro, light rail, or a similar industrial environment. Minimum 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience. Strong technical knowledge of rolling stock overhaul practices and maintenance procedures. Good knowledge of CMMS, maintenance management software, and Microsoft Office applications. Strong planning, scheduling, and organizational skills. Good understanding of Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) requirements. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prepare technical reports and maintenance documentation.
Preferred Engineering ONC, Diploma, or equivalent qualification. Knowledge of railway maintenance standards and OEM maintenance procedures. Basic understanding of Continuous Improvement, Lean, and 5S methodologies. Experience working against maintenance KPIs and production targets.
