Mechanical Technician ( Oil & Gas) We are seeking an experienced and safety-driven Oil and Gas Mechanical Technician. In this role, you will execute preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on high-pressure systems, heavy rotating machinery, and static plant equipment. Because this position operates within a high-hazard environment, a flawless commitment to process safety regulations and emergency response procedures is mandatory. Responsibilities: Perform precise overhauls, laser alignments, and mechanical seal replacements on critical assets including centrifugal pumps, gas compressors, turbines, and fans. Inspect, service, and repair static equipment such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, distillation columns, storage tanks, and industrial piping networks. Troubleshoot and fix high-pressure hydraulic control systems, actuator valves, and pneumatic instrumentation devices. Execute safe bolt-torquing, flange management, and gasket replacements in compliance with ASME standards to ensure leak-free operations. Use specialized tools like dial indicators, micrometers, and vibration analysis equipment to monitor machine health and diagnose early stages of wear. Deep understanding of hydrocarbon processing hazards, ATEX/hazardous zone classifications, and standard industry print reading (P&IDs, Isometrics).

Desired Candidate Profile

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 5+ years of Experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical Industry
