About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, highly skilled, and proactive ATM Field Service Engineer to manage the installation, configuration, maintenance, and repair of our fleet of Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) and Cash Recycling Machines (CRMs) across Qatar.
In this role, you will be the frontline technical expert ensuring maximum machine uptime, strict security compliance, and prompt technical support. The ideal candidate is a dedicated problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can adhere strictly to local banking protocols and company standards.
- QID or Transferrable Visa
- Valid Qatar Driving License is a major plus but not required
- Salary based on related working ATM experiences
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex hardware and software faults on multi-vendor ATMs and Cash Recyclers.
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine preventative maintenance, regular software upgrades, patch installations, and proactive parts replacement.
- SLA Management: Respond promptly to emergency breakdown alerts, ensuring all technical issues are resolved within strict Service Level Agreement (SLA) timelines.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure all machines strictly comply with local network, physical security, and anti-skimming standards.
- Inventory & Documentation: Maintain accurate digital logs of all service actions, technical reports, and spare parts inventory.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of direct, hands-on experience servicing major ATM/CRM brands (e.g., NCR, Diebold Nixdorf, Hyosung).
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, IT, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- Technical Skills: Strong electromechanical troubleshooting skills, proficient knowledge of Windows OS, basic networking, and a deep understanding of banking security protocols.
- License: A valid Qatar Driving License is mandatory for this role.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work on rotating shifts, weekends, and on-call schedules to support 24/7 operations.

- Multi-Vendor ATM Hardware Expertise: Advanced proficiency in repairing, diagnosing, and configuring major ATM/CRM platforms (such as NCR SelfServ, Diebold Nixdorf Opteva/ProCash, or Hyosung).
- Cash Handling & Recycling Technology: Deep technical knowledge of advanced cash dispensing modules, bunch note acceptors (BNA), and cash recycling mechanisms (BRM).
- Diagnostic & Software Tools: Experience using vendor-specific diagnostic software, loading ATM software images, configuring CEN/XFS middleware, and executing firmware updates.
- Network & OS Troubleshooting: Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking, routing, switch connectivity, and Windows OS administration within a secure banking environment.
- Security & Fraud Prevention: Familiarity with installing and maintaining anti-skimming devices, physical security locks, CCTV integration, and logic-security patches.
