Matana Facilities Management Services is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and sanitation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all areas are hygienic, organized, and well-maintained. The Cleaner will perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and ensuring that all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained.
Role Description Sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize floors, walls, windows, and other surfaces. Clean and disinfect restrooms, ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies. Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in a sanitary manner. Replenish cleaning supplies as needed and report inventory shortages to management. Ensure that all cleaning equipment is in good working condition and report any issues. Clean and sanitize common areas, offices, hallways, and meeting rooms. Follow cleaning schedules and prioritize tasks to maintain the facility’s cleanliness. Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations. Assist with special cleaning projects as needed. Maintain confidentiality and respect privacy within the facility.
Qualifications High School Diploma or apprenticeship2 years related work experience as a cleaner General cleaning skills, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing Ability to operate cleaning equipment and follow cleaning schedules Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations in cleaning practices Good time management and organizational skills for completing tasks efficiently Attention to detail, ensuring high standards of cleanliness Ability to work independently and as part of a team Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services is advantageous Basic communication skills in English; additional language proficiency is a plus
