Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Functional Medicine Physician based in Doha, Qatar. The physician will provide patient-centered care, focusing on preventive measures, addressing root causes of illnesses, and leveraging functional medicine principles to optimize health outcomes. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive patient evaluations, creating tailored treatment plans, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in functional medicine. This role also involves educating patients on lifestyle and dietary changes to promote long-term wellness in alignment with functional medicine best practices.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of functional medicine principles, integrative approaches, and holistic care methodologies Clinical experience in patient assessment, diagnosing health issues, and developing personalized treatment plans Excellent communication, patient education, and counseling skills Proficiency in maintaining detailed medical records and leveraging medical technologies Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or related specialties Possession of appropriate medical licenses to practice in Qatar or eligibility to obtain such licensure Commitment to patient-centered care and staying informed on current functional medicine research and advancements
