Job Title: Agricultural Engineer Agronomist/Extension Officer
Role Description This is a full-time on-site Agricultural Engineer - Agronomist/Extension (Vegetable Farming) role located in Doha, Qatar. The Agronomist Extension Officer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to soil science, agriculture, irrigation, research, and plant nutrition in the field of vegetable farming.
Qualifications:Educational Background: MSc or BSc in Agricultural Sciences specializing in Pesticides and Toxicology. Experience: 5 to 8 years of relevant experience.
Skills Required: Expertise in plant protection or vegetable production. Proven experience working in greenhouse and glasshouse environments within GCC countries. Extension service experience is highly preferred. Additional Requirement: Candidates should possess a valid or expired Qatar/GCC Driver’s License. Note: Candidates who are Agronomists and have worked as Extension Officers with the required skills will have a strong chance of being hired.
