Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Integration Specialist with strong expertise in Google Apigee and enterprise integration architecture. The ideal candidate will design and govern scalable, secure API-led solutions across hybrid and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement API and integration solutions using Apigee Define integration architecture, standards, and API governance frameworks Ensure platform security (OAuth, JWT, API key validation), performance, and high availability Lead API lifecycle management, versioning, and modernization initiatives Drive hybrid/on-prem to cloud integration strategies Provide technical leadership, architecture reviews, and production support

Primary Skills

Strong hands-on expertise in Google Apigee (API proxy design, policies, security, traffic management, analytics, hybrid/on-prem deployments) Deep knowledge of Integration Patterns, SOA, and Microservices architecture Strong understanding of REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, Open API/Swagger Experience in API governance and lifecycle management

Preferred Skills

Experience with IBM Cloud Pak for Integration (API Connect, ACE, MQ, Event Streams) CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git) Kubernetes, Docker, container-based deployments TOGAF or Enterprise Architecture knowledge

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field Relevant certifications (Apigee, IBM, TOGAF) are a plus
